Earthquake in Haiti

As you know we have talked a lot about the dreadful events of the massive ‘quake in Haiti last week. If S2 want to do this as their case study rather than the San Francisco one then thee are a few links below to get you started. Haiti is in the Caribbean, and is the western half of an island, the eastern half of which forms the Dominican Republic.
Haiti is one of the world's poorest countries, and even before the earthquake many of its population were struggling to live.
