Supported Study with a difference

A wee session tonight on writing Higher Questions when presented with the marking schemes. A lot of good thinking was done. Well done! After this a bit of fun with a "guess what I am session" on development and health and the challenging glaciation terms. Yes -I was a prat too and ended up with a few crackers stuck to my forehead. We could only answer yes, no or maybe when each person was trying to find out what feature or process they were. Apparently everyone else does "normal" supported study sessions! I don't like to be "normal". Next week- jigsaws, more tete a tete and another little gem I've got up my sleeve! Stop sighing.

Chocolate - not any more. All due to Global Warming.


We all know Scots love their chocolate and most don't care how expensive it is. You might have to pay a lot more for it in future though as a study has revealed places growing cocoa beans will have different weather because of global warming. Other crops will be affected too - grapes ans wheat. That's bad news for wine and pasta prices! The original article is here if you want to read more
